Capping months of negotiations, Yahoo (YHOO) and Microsoft announced on Thursday that they’ve restructured their landmark search alliance to give greater flexibility in how search results are presented and how their ad teams work. The restructured deal comes as Microsoft has upped its payment to Yahoo under the agreement, which began in 2009.
