She notes that the Xbox One has an eight-core processor and a high-speed graphics chip that allow players to battle opponents “with higher frame rates and more gorgeous graphics than ever.” Meanwhile, $500 worth of rice weighs about 1 metric ton and “could feed an impressive 2,500 people for one day or a village of 40 people for about two full months.” After careful consideration, she chooses the Xbox One because it’s “flat-out more fun” than a pile of rice.
