The government’s AWS-3 auction of radio spectrum has raised $4.7 billion through seven rounds, nearly half the Federal Communications Commission’s minimum target but well below some estimates of final results. AT&T (T), Verizon Communications (VZ) and T-Mobile US (TMUS) are among 70 registered potential bidders, as is satellite TV broadcaster Dish Network (DISH). The Advanced Wireless Service No. 3 auction started on Nov. 13 and could last weeks. Scalper1 News
