After just one month on the market, Microsoft ‘s (MSFT) Windows 10 is already running on more than 5% of personal computers in use worldwide. Web analytics firm Net Applications reported Tuesday that Windows 10 was on 5.2% of PCs on the Internet in August. Microsoft released the new operating system on July 29 as a free upgrade to users of Windows 7 and 8 machines; the program also came installed on new PCs.
