Western States Lead In U.S. Home Computer Ownership

The West is the best when it comes to household ownership of personal computers in America. In the Western region of the U.S., 90.1% of households have a computer. Northeastern states are second with 89.5%, reports the U.S. Census Bureau. Nationwide, 83.8% of households have a computer, up from 76.7% in 2010. Of PC households, 74.5% have an Internet connection.
