Internet services company Web.com (WWWW) on Monday announced that it has acquired SnapNames, a domain-name auctioneer, sending its stock lower. Web.com stock was down 2% in midday trading in the stock market today, near 35.80. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Web.com didn’t disclose the price for SnapNames. The company had been owned by Luxembourg-based KeyDrive SA Holdings. Web.com sells website-building software and services and subscriptions for small Scalper1 News
