Verizon Communications (VZ) early Tuesday reported adjusted Q3 earnings and revenue that topped estimates, adding 1.3 million postpaid wireless subscribers, though wireless services revenue and average monthly revenue per subscriber fell. Verizon said it earned $1.04 per share ex items, up 16% from the year-earlier period. Revenue rose 5% to $33.2 billion.
