Verizon Communications (VZ), stocking up on mobile advertising technology following its purchase of AOL in June, on Thursday said it had reached an agreement to acquire Millennial Media for around $250 million. Verizon’s acquisitions of AOL and Millennial Media put it in competition with Google (GOOGL) and Facebook (FB), which dominate the mobile ad market.
