The UVXY beta tested model is going back to the testing labs for further work. I will be monitoring its signals and performance. It has performed very well during non-QE environments such as when QE2 ended in mid-2011. But low interest rates continue to rule the day via various forms of easy money a la QE, Operation Twist, etc. Thus when it starts to perform well on a risk-adjusted basis in this manipulated easy money environment, it will be reinstated.
