Continuing its strong growth, the U.S. installed 1,354 megawatts of solar photovoltaics in the third quarter, up 41% from Q3 2013 and up 8% from Q2. The U.S. is now home to more than 578,000 individual solar installations on rooftops, parking lots, landfills, deserts and fields.
