U.S. Sets China Solar Anti-Dumping Duties Of 26%-165%

The U.S. Commerce Department issued preliminary anti-dumping tariffs of 26%-165% on imports of silicon solar photovoltaic cells and modules from China and Taiwan. It’s the latest win for U.S.-based solar product makers such as SunPower (SPWR), but a defeat for Chinese rivals. It also could mean higher prices for U.S. consumers.
