U.S. Seniors Gain In Internet Usage, But Lag Overall

Most U.S. seniors, people 65 and older, do not have broadband access at home, but the sector nevertheless has shown big gains in online usage in the past year, says a report released Thursday by the Pew Research Center. The research organization says 59% of U.S. seniors report they do go online, up from 53% a year ago. Still, that’s compared with 86% of all American adults who go online nowadays.
