The property and casualty insurance group showed strength Friday, ending flat despite declines of 1% to 1.5% for the major averages. The 83-stock group was ranked No. 21 out of 197 on Friday, up nine spots over the past six weeks. It’s risen about 10% this year despite a slight decline for the S&P 500.
