Tables, chairs and sofas are not the most exciting things out there. But the Retail-Home Furnishings group jumped Thursday, thanks to a surge in shares of Restoration Hardware (RH), which reported upbeat third-quarter results after Wednesday’s close. The retailer’s earnings jumped 53% to 49 cents a share in its fiscal Q3 ended Nov. 1. Sales grew 22% to $484.7 million.
