Time Warner (TWX)-owned Turner Broadcasting System plans to bring electronic sports, or e-sports, to primetime cable television next year. Turner and entertainment firm WME/IMG announced Thursday that they have formed a strategic partnership to create an e-sports competitive gaming league. The companies will hold competitive video game events with live fan experiences and televised coverage on TBS and online. Turner Studios in Atlanta will become Scalper1 News
