Tesla Still Struggling In China As May Shipments Fall

Tesla Motor (TSLA) continues to struggle in China — a market that was once seen rivaling the U.S. for the electric carmaker — as shipments of the Model S remained weak in May. Only 163 units were shipped to China in May, according to data released Thursday by JL Warren Capital, nearly double vs. the prior month but down from the 414 units averaged monthly for the past 12 months.
