Initial sales of Tesla Motors’ (TSLA) new Model X this week pushed the luxury electric-car maker to 11,580 vehicle deliveries in the third quarter. Those figures, which the company released Friday afternoon, came in on target with CEO Elon Musk’s guidance in August. Deliveries are unit-sales data, and the Q3 showing is up by almost half from Q3 2014 and a smidge above the 11,532 vehicles that Tesla delivered in Q2. The third quarter ended Scalper1 News
