Tech Firms Urge No ‘Title II’ Internet Despite Obama

In a letter, 60 technology companies on Wednesday again urged the Federal Communications Commission not to impose public utility-type regulation on high-speed Internet services, amid growing signs that FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler will go along with President Obama’s call for Title II reclassification. Intel (INTC), Cisco Systems (CSCO), IBM (IBM) and Qualcomm (QCOM) are among the 60 companies. The same group sent a similar letter to the FCC in Scalper1 News
