Data storage startup Tintri, a marketing partner of VMware (VMW), raised $125 million in a funding round, nearly doubling its venture capital investments. VMware’s (VMW) Q2 earnings topped Street views, but soft billings prompted some analysts Wednesday to question the virtualization software leader’s growth prospects into 2016.
