Real estate is going through a revolution whose flagbearers are Zillow and Trulia, websites where people research buying a home and real estate agents market. A $3.5 billion merger between Zillow (Z) and Trulia (TRLA), a stock swap valued at $3.5 billion at the time of the December 2014 announcement but now valued near $1.8 billion, was completed Tuesday, heralding just how much the Internet is changing real estate, like so many other industries.
