AMX Seen Keeping TracFone Amid AT&T Prepaid Push

Macquarie Securities downgraded American Movil, which faces intensified competition in Mexico from AT&T (T) as growth slows in Brazil and at its U.S. subsidiary, TracFone. Kevin Smithen, an analyst at Macquarie, said in a research note that America Movil’s (AMX) plans to expand in Europe seem at a dead end. T-Mobile Rolls Free Video, No YouTube, Facebook Yet

T-Mobile US (TMUS) will provide customers with free video streaming of 24 popular apps — including HBO, Netflix and Walt Disney’s Watch ESPN — as part of its latest Uncarrier promotion announced Tuesday.
