Qunar Rises As The China Web Travel Site Rides Mobile

Chinese online travel company Qunar Cayman Islands (QUNR) — nicknamed the “Kayak.com of China” — late Monday reported that mobile continued to be a key revenue growth driver in Q3. That news sent the company’s stock rocketing higher on Tuesday. Qunar said revenue rose 108% to $81.6 million, as its mobile revenue soared 445% year over year to comprise 40% of total revenue. Investment bank Aegis Capital Group had expected revenue of $75.4 million.
