Qihoo 360 Closes $900 Million U.S. Note Offering

Qihoo 360 Technology announced the closing of its private placement of $900 million of convertible senior notes Wednesday. Qihoo 360 (QIHU), a Chinese Internet company, said that it sold the notes to qualified institutional buyers. The notes were issued in two tranches of $450 million, due to mature on Aug. 15, 2020, and Aug. 15, 2021, respectively. The 2020 notes will accrue interest at an annual rate of 0.50%.
