Kandi Technologies (KNDI) disclosed plans Thursday to deliver 1,000 electric vehicles to start a car-share program in Chengdu, China, as it continues expanding. Kandi Reports 631% Surge In Chinese Electric Cars

Kandi Technologies (KNDI) reported Wednesday a massive jump in the number of pure electric vehicles (EV) produced in China last month. The Chinese maker of electric vehicles, which has a joint venture with Geely, said total EV production soared 631% to 4,035 vehicles in July vs. the same period last year. Of the total, 2,205 were Kandi’s own brand. So far this year, 17,499 pure EVs have been produced. Shares were up 1.2% in the stock market today.
