Online marketplaces for third-party sellers, such as those provided by Amazon.com and eBay, are taking the e-commerce world by storm, says a survey of retailers in the U.S. and U.K. The Aug. 13 study by ChannelAdvisor (ECOM), a software maker that helps third-party retailers sell on big websites that offer marketplaces, focused on identifying major trends and challenges in online commerce. The poll found that 90% of retailers sell their products
