Extra Credit: Tesla Tops 100 Rating, 200-Day Line
Tesla Motors (TSLA) shares are revving up in the stock market today, retaking a key level, after scoring some extra credit on its recent Consumer Reports test. Its new, top-of-the-line P85D Model S got a score of 103 out of 100, making it the highest-rated car the guidebook has ever tested. Tesla gapped up about 8% in big volume, retaking its 200-day moving average. On Monday, shares hit a nearly 5-month low intraday as the market sold off.
