T-Mobile US (TMUS) announced Monday that it’s reached an agreement to buy radio spectrum licenses from Verizon Wireless for $2.37 billion in cash as wireless firms continue to stockpile airwaves they need to expand 4G data and video services. T-Mobile will transfer spectrum licenses valued at about $950 million to Verizon Wireless as part of the deal. T-Mobile stock edged up a fraction in early trading in the stock market today.
