Steel producers were the hot industry group Wednesday, soaring on good news on several fronts. The group was ranked No. 11 out of 197 industry groups, as of Wednesday’s IBD, and was up sharply for the day. The steel industry is benefiting from a resurgence of car manufacturing and oil and gas drilling.
