Sprint (S) added more subscribers than expected in fiscal Q4, retaining its No. 3 spot in the U.S. wireless market, but revenue missed analyst estimates. Sprint early Tuesday said it ended the March quarter with 57.14 million wireless customers, narrowly ahead of T-Mobile US (TMUS), which had 56.8 million subscribers.
