Splunk Rival Loggly Attracts More Funding

Splunk’s fast growth in machine-to-machine data analytics has attracted more private equity investors to Splunk rival Loggly. On Tuesday, San Francisco-based Loggly said that it had closed a $15 million funding round, led by Harmony Partners. Matrix Partners, Trinity Investors and networking gear leader Cisco Systems (CSCO), which had already been investors, increased their investments. Loggly has raised $43.3 million to date.
