Higher-than-expected bidding in a U.S. government auction of radio spectrum could be a setback for T-Mobile US if it’s not acquired, says a Jefferies report. Bidding in the Advanced Wireless Service No. 3 spectrum auction, which started on Nov. 13, reached $37.5 billion late Wednesday, more than double earlier forecasts.
