In early trading on Friday, shares of Skyworks Solutions ( SWKS ) topped the list of the day’s best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 12.6%. Year to date, Skyworks Solutions registers a 18.3% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Bristol-Myers Squibb ( BMY ), trading down 9.4%. Bristol-Myers Squibb is lower by about 13.9% looking at the year to date performance. Two other components making moves today are TransDigm Group ( TDG ), trading down 5.1%, and CF Industries Holdings ( CF ), trading up 4.3% on the day.
