SolarCity (SCTY) announced Thursday it will expand in seven states by opening 20 regional operations centers by year-end, heating up its stock. The San Mateo, Calif.-based company, which installs rooftop solar panels for businesses and homeowners and went public in 2012, will open new centers in Arizona, California, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada and New York.
