Solar Energy Firms Get $326M In Q3 Venture Capital

Venture capital firms invested $326 million in solar companies in the third quarter, down 28% from Q2 but up 55% from the year-earlier quarter. The money was spread across 21 deals, according to Mercom Capital Group. Sunnova Energy, a provider of residential solar service, raised $110 million, the largest funding round in Q3.
