More than 30% of today’s information technology vendors won’t exist as we know them within five years, market research firm IDC predicted Wednesday. Nearly a third of IT suppliers will be acquired, merged, downsized or significantly repositioned by 2020, IDC said as part of the tech research firm’s annual forecast.
