Qualcomm’s (QCOM) royalty payment dispute with Chinese smartphone makers likely will be an overhang on the wireless chip designer’s stock for several quarters, Canaccord Genuity said in a report Thursday. In Qualcomm’s Q3 earnings report on July 24, the company lowered its estimates on royalties it expects to collect from China.
