So far in 2015, the major U.S. pay-TV providers have lost close to a million video subscribers. And research firm eMarketer sees the cord-cutting trend continuing through at least 2019. In a report Thursday, eMarketer predicts that 1 in 5 U.S. adults will not subscribe to cable or satellite TV by 2018. It sees the percentage of the adult population who don’t subscribe to traditional pay-TV service rising from 15.2% in 2014 to 22.6% in 2019. The Scalper1 News
