NXP Semiconductors, Other iPhone Suppliers Shares Up

Chipmaker NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) shared in customer Apple’s strong quarter, as its shares and those of other iPhone suppliers rose Wednesday. NXP was up 4.5% in midday trading in the stock market today. NXP, based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, supplies near field communication technology that enable mobile phones to pay for goods.
