Analysts look for NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) to benefit from its technology geared to secure mobile payments and to electronics that help cars communicate, when the Dutch chipmaker reports Q3 earnings after the close Wednesday. The company is expected to post earnings per share minus items of $1.31, on $1.5 billion in revenue, according to analysts polled by Thomson Reuters.
