New Twitter Service Tracks Newbies, Looks To Monetize

Twitter (TWTR) has rolled out a new service called Moments that’s designed to make the microblog more appealing to casual users and those who might not have Twitter accounts. The microblogging service estimates it has as many as 500 million so-called logged-off users — people who come to the site to view content but aren’t registered, making them trickier for advertisers to target effectively.
