Netflix’s (NFLX) marketing partnership with SoftBank in Japan is a sign of more alliances to come involving telecom companies, says UBS. The SoftBank partnership, announced on Monday, is “further evidence that Netflix is becoming a core part of the telecom promotional rotation,” said UBS analyst Doug Mitchelson in a research report.
