While cable TV services continue to confound viewers with their user interfaces, Netflix has rolled out a new navigation screen that aims to please. Netflix rolled out the new user interface on Wednesday to subscribers using a range of smart TVs and set-top boxes. A year and a half in the making, the new navigation screen features big photos of TV shows and movies with more detail on the videos you select. The interface exposes more recommendations based on what you’ve previously watched and liked. If you’ve connected your account to Facebook (FB), it can show what your friends have watched. Search also has been improved.
