Netflix getting boost from promotional offers

Telecom services and TV makers increasingly are offering Netflix (NFLX) service as a promotional tool, providing a boost for the streaming video leader. “As wired and wireless broadband providers fight for share, Netflix’s inexpensive ($8 a month) streaming service could become one of the standard promotional tools, like HBO, Showtime and Starz free trials for pay-TV promos,” UBS Securities analyst Doug Mitchelson said in a research report late Scalper1 News
