Mobile apps have surpassed desktop computers as the top way people access digital media, online measurement firm ComScore (SCOR) reported Thursday. U.S. consumers in June spent 52% of their digital media time on mobile apps compared with 40% on desktop PCs and 8% on mobile Web browsers, ComScore said. In March 2013, desktop PCs were top with 53% of digital media time, followed by mobile apps with 40% and mobile Web browsers with 7%, it said. Total Scalper1 News
