With some bad news out of the way, Microsoft (MSFT) hopes to turn investor attention next week to what’s working for the company. On July 8, the Redmond, Wash.-based software leader took a $7.6 billion impairment charge related to its ill-conceived purchase of Nokia’s (NOK) mobile phone business in April 2014.
