Medical-Device Stocks Could Benefit From Tax Repeal

Among the potential big winners in Tuesday’s midterm elections were medical-device stocks. The ObamaCare law slapped the group with a 2.3% excise tax, which went into effect last year. While a repeal of the tax isn’t likely to be as popular as Thomas Jefferson’s repeal of the whiskey excise tax in 1802, a repeal has broad political support.
