Netflix (NFLX) wants to launch its streaming-video service in France, Europe’s third-largest market. Here’s hoping they have enough videos featuring French favorite Jerry Lewis to satisfy demand. Netflix executives on Tuesday met with the staff of French President Francois Hollande to discuss the possibility of offering the company’s over-the-top Internet video service in the country, Reuters reported Wednesday. Netflix also has talked with th officials in Germany and other European countries about starting service there, Reuters said. Netflix currently offers service in 41 countries, including the U.K., the Netherlands and the Nordic nations.
