JA Solar’s CEO Offers To Take Company Private

JA Solar (JASO) shares jumped Friday after the Chinese solar module and cell maker’s CEO offered to take the company private. CEO Baofang Jin said it would pay $9.69 per U.S. share for each share he doesn’t currently own, a 20% premium on Thursday’s closing price. The CEO along with his company Jinglong Group already own 15% of JA Solar. JA Solar shares jumped 15% to 9.30 just after the opening bell in the stock market today. JA Solar’s board Scalper1 News
