IT Spending Seen Accelerating In 2014 After Flat 2013

Global spending on information technology is expected to rise 3.1% to $3.8 trillion in 2014, up from growth of just 0.4% last year, research firm Gartner said Monday. The enterprise software group is expected to show the fastest growth, with sales rising 6.8% to $320 billion, a plus for industry leaders that include Oracle (ORCL) and Salesforce.com (CRM).
