Online video behemoth YouTube is no longer the dominant content provider it once was. A new report out Monday says Facebook (FB) is poised to become a “plausible alternative” to Google’s (GOOGL) video arm. According to Ampere Analysis, Facebook is earning 73 cents per monthly active user (MAU) on videos versus the 28 cents per MAU that YouTube is earning.
